About Model SFI

Stainless steel or carbon steel flow indicators and sight glasses, with arrangements to suit the application and end-fitting requirements.

Flange options: AS 2129 Tables D, E, F or H; ANSI 150
Nominal bore: 15–350 mm
Body: Stainless steel or carbon steel.
Glass: Toughened soda-lime (standard); toughened borosilicate optional.
Gasketing: CF (standard) or PTFE; others on request.

Construction and application options

Fabricated and semi-fabricated construction in either material; forged construction is also available in carbon steel. Options below are available for some sizes and require confirmation.

Units for vertical downward flow.
Drip-lip for intermittent flow.
Bi-directional flow.
Units suitable for pigging.

Fabrication and design are available to required standards. Describe any special arrangement in Application and special requirements.

Pressure and temperature limits are confirmed for the selected construction and application.

Carbon steel dimensions cover AS 2129 E or ANSI 150. The stainless steel reference covers AS 2129 H or ANSI 150; other material/table combinations require dimension confirmation.
