Portable Transit-time Ultrasonic Flowmeter
Applications and measurement
Portable transit-time flow measurement checks at multiple points in a liquid-flow process without a permanent installation. Magnetic clamp-on transducers cover pipes from 25 to 1200 mm.
The rechargeable lithium battery provides a published 10-hour operating time. A 3.5-inch TFT display and 8 GB SD-card logging support temporary measurements and data collection.

Application and Installation Guidance
Measurement location
Select a fully developed flow profile in a pipe that remains full: a vertical pipe flowing upwards or a full horizontal pipe.
Provide the straight upstream and downstream lengths shown in the installation drawings. Keep the measurement-point temperature within the transducer limits and avoid excessive internal corrosion or scaling.

Configuration notes

- The specification table states IP68, while the ordering description states IP54. Confirm the required protection for your application.
- Transducer temperature
- The PDF prints −40 to 80°C alongside 40–176°F; the lower limits do not agree. Confirm the required low-temperature rating.
