Standard Bursting Disk Holders

Standard SHF, SHZ and SHU holders install metal bursting discs between flanges. Tightening the flange screws produces the metallic seal between the disc and the holder inlet.

Models

SHF: Standard — flat metal discs, Series SF
SHZ: Standard — forward acting discs, Series SZ
SHU: Standard — reverse acting discs, Series SU

Advantages in the application

Seals are fitted between the flange and holder.
A burst indicator or leakage sensor can be incorporated between flanges.
Pre-torqued holders are available as an alternative.

Specifications

Nominal widths: DN 20 to DN 250
Materials: Stainless steels; 1.4571 standard. Special materials include Hastelloy, Sandvik SX, tantalum, PTFE lining and carbon steel.
